Sometimes, anxiety can make you feel depressed. During an anxiety attack, you may feel scared or helpless, and the person will want this to end, which will lead them to doing things they will regret.

Yes. Been anxious can lead to depression. The thing that lead you to the state of anxiety can affect everything else that goes on in your life. It takes the joy out of moving forward. You are thus left with the burden of trying to deal with whatever it is along with the many mood swing that you will then be developing. You put that one thing at the center of everything else and if you fail at acconplishing it, it then over comes you leaving you in a state of depression.

Of course. The symptons of anxiety result in restlessness, and nervousness, eventually resulting in withdrawl symptoms, leading to depression and lack of motivation and energy to do anything.

Anxiety can certainly cause depression. When you feel out of control and somewhat panicked, you start to wonder what's wrong with you. Those type of thoughts can open a whirlwind of emotions because you're not in control of your own body.

Anxiety can sometimes cause depression, and depression can sometimes cause anxiety. They are both mental illnesses that can be reactions to your environment or situations. Whatever causes the mental illness can be many different factors but the most important thing is to never blame yourself for it.

Yes. Anxiety can make you feel so afraid that you won't be able to do anything without fear. Seeing yourself so numb may lead to depression and you can suffer from both simultaneously. However, you can overcome both of them as well.

Yes, sometimes anxiety becomes a trait and when you worry and feel nervous you think no one is there to help or no one understands you, so you exclude yourself from social activity. You can also start to feel alone and that nobody cares, which leads to depression.

Depression and anxiety can definitely add into each other, and make each other seem worse! The good thing is, though, that when you get your anxiety in a good position, your depression will be aided a bit as well!

From personal experience (mine and friends), it seems that anxiety and depression often come hand in hand. Anxiety deals with your thoughts, often making things seem bigger than they really are. This can feed depression. On the flip side, your depression can feed into negative thoughts that make you anxious.

In my experience, my anxiety actually turns into depression when I'm experiencing extreme anxiety for too long. I sort of think of it as a cup. All of my feelings are supposed to fit in the cup, but my anxiety is an ice-cube that is taking up room so I don't have so much space for normal emotions. And thus, I overflow, which is my depression. That's just me, though.

Absolutely. Having anxiety and not having the proper treatment can cause depression. When someone has anxiety it can consume their day-to-day life and prevent them for working, sleeping, eating, socializing, etc.

Yes, anxiety can cause one to be depressed. There have been such examples of anxiety leading to depression. One issue with anxiety is indecisiveness. Imagine a scenario where one has been invited to a small gathering in a public place, the anxiety can cause one to not want to go as of the fear of social interaction and judgement. If one does then refuse such a invite after the event has happened and one has not participated there can be a feeling of sadness. One begins to feel lonely and unloved which can lead into a depressed mindset.

Having lots of anxiety will make anyone feel overwhelmed, but having a lot of anxiety can cause someone to have depression. Constantly feeling social anxiety, feeling all this pressure will most likely cause depressive thoughts, if not, depression.

In my personal experience, yes. It builds and builds for me and feels like there's this weight on my shoulders that drags me and my mood down. So I take deep breaths, focus on the positive side of things and soldier on

Anxiety can definitely make you feel depressed. Often times, our body and mind have a natural reaction to things. So with some people, they may feel as if they will never overcome their anxiety, so it makes them depressed.

Absolutely-- in fact, depression is a common comorbidity of anxiety sufferers. That said, not every patient that is anxious feels depressed, and visa versa, but the two conditions can sort of feedback on one another when found together.

In my experience, depression has caused me to feel anxious. When you're in uncharted territory its easy to over analyze what is happening and incorrectly diagnose the problem. That only adds to that anxiety to build, and when a problem goes unsolved from being anxious then yes, that can cause you to become depressed. Try using a journal to recognize triggers and then you can find what the problems are and begin to solve them.

Absolutely. Anxiety can be the root cause to a ton of things; All kinds of physical, mental and emotional aches. Sometimes, the anxiety was only the surface of a much deeper issue of depression that we may have been having. Sometimes, having anxiety for so long and having it hinder life experiences or relationships can lead to feelings of depression. However, there is always a way out of that. We just have to know when to reach out for help. Anxiety can be debilitating on your own.
