A safe, quiet space in a noisy world." I believe that everyone deserves to be heard without judgment, pretense, or unwanted advice. My approach is rooted in warmth, sincere presence, and active listening. Whether you need a calm ear to process your thoughts or a compassionate space to simply exist as you are, I am here to hold that space for you. Soft spoken, endlessly patient, and always reachable.

For as long as I can remember, adults just naturally seemed to open up to me, so I grew up understanding a lot of things I was still too young to properly process. Hot lines from Junior high on. Back in 1988 I spent a year with Samaritans, which was establishing a toehold in America at the time...really changed everything in terms of how I conceived of the role of a listener. Went through a tough spell back in my 20s,  but overcame it on my own, since then I've been the person anyone can come to and talk about anyone. I've lived in many parts of the country and palled around in all kinds of social circles, so when I say I've heard it all...well, I have. 

If you need someone to talk to feel free to message me. I will try my best to support you. I have been through a lot of bad things myself in life. Can I please ask for no sexual chats. I don’t want any sexting.  I also want to ask that people who are pregnant don’t contact me. It’s hard seeing and hearing about people who are pregnant due to personal issues. 

I am particularly interested in causes relating to mental health, trauma recovery, addiction recovery, domestic abuse, and supporting individuals experiencing significant life transitions or crisis. Having both professional experience in wellbeing roles and lived experience of navigating mental health challenges, I am passionate about reducing stigma and helping people feel heard, understood, and empowered. In terms of roles, I am especially interested in mentoring or coaching-based opportunities where I can: Provide one-to-one support Help individuals build confidence and resilience Support goal setting and personal development Assist individuals in creating structure and practical action plans Offer emotional support within appropriate boundaries
