...See more i struggle to find happiness in relationships with girls; being with them often leaves me feeling unhappy and drained, like i give more than i get and still come up empty. at home my parents won’t see or accept me — they belittle my feelings, dismiss who i am, and act like my identity is a problem, which makes me feel invisible and unheard. that constant dismissal and the hatred they project onto me leave me exhausted and full of self-doubt. i keep hoping the next girl will finally understand me, but each connection falls apart and chips away at that hope. the only time i felt any real happiness was with my ex, even though she did me wrong; remembering that makes me ache and wonder why i can’t find someone who treats me well and makes me feel seen. loneliness settles in more and more, and it’s hard to imagine trusting someone again when it feels like no one in my life truly accepts or understands me. i wish i could be loved for who i am without explanations or defenses, and i’m so tired of pretending i’m okay when everything inside is breaking.
