...See more Right now I just finished reading The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michelle Richardson with a book club at the retirement home (I'm a librarian). I'm working on 'The Daughter of the Book Woman'. It's actually been a very good book- historical fiction about the people/culture of Appalachia (US) in the early 1900's Kentucky, especially the 'Blue people'. What is everyone else reading? Normally I'm a Fantasy gal myself (huge Drizzt fan, btw)

...See more I'm 53, recently widowed from my best friend/spouse of 24 years (cancersux). I'm here for support. I'm just breathing right now. I went back to work bc I could feel myself giving up, and my work gives me purpose (libraries rock). I hope that at some point I will be able to be supportive. Most of all, don't give up, and you are not alone. hugs.
