Overthinking is like a swamp — the more a person gets trapped in the same thought, the deeper they continue to sink.
If you hold a glass 🥛 in your hand, keeping it for one minute feels easy. But if you keep holding the same glass for an hour, your arm starts to go numb. The same is true for worries and problems. Thinking about an issue for a few moments is wisdom, but keeping it constantly on your mind weakens a person’s courage, peace, and ability to make decisions.
Peace in life does not come from continuously thinking about everything. It comes from removing unnecessary burdens from the mind and taking practical steps. When a person learns to “put the glass down,” the burden naturally begins to feel lighter.
