...See more Hey all, I'm new to this site. I'm 18 years old, 19 in three weeks and feel like life is nothing but pain. Everyday, I wake up, go to work, get home, do some mindless tasks for a while and then go to sleep. I have nothing to look forward to in life, since I dropped out and now I'm living paycheck to paycheck. I have no friends at all and only 2 family members in my life who I don't connect with very well, and I feel so alone. I haven't been happy ever in my life, and I don't see how anything could possibly get better. I really just wish I could of been a little bit less unlucky and socialized, did better in school, made friends, and figured out ways to have fun with life, but yet here I am, every waking moment being nothing but loneliness and despair. How am I supposed to improve if I have no motivation? Who's gonna be there to help me along the path of success when I have no one to turn to? I feel so lost and hopeless with no sense of direction. The only things that keep me from completely losing it are weed and some video games that might occupy my spare time. I'm just so sick of all of this, and if anyone has any advice or at least has a similar story, I would be open to listening. Sorry for the long post, I just felt like venting for a minute.
