i am 26 years old, and have struggled with the following:
self harm, drug/alcohol abuse, sexual trauma/PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, binge eating disorder, hallucinations, suicidal thoughts/tendencies, bullying, sleep disorders (insomnia, frequent nightmares, etc) and anxiety.
i am a victim of sexual assault. i have been hospitalized, medicated and in therapy. i have been struggling with mental disorders/self harm since i was 11 years old. i am also apart of the LGBTQ+ community and am newly engaged.
i became a listener because i am extremely passionate about helping others and making sure everyone knows that they are worthy of being heard and are never alone.
