Hi, I'm Amelia! I am currently a master's of social work student, and through my program, I've deepened my passion for helping others. I hope to eventually be a therapist, but for know, I'd love the opportunity to help people in any way possible, and for me, that starts with listening and giving others my full attention.
As far as sharing a little bit about myself, I am no stranger to mental health issues. I've battled depression and anxiety for most of my life, and so I understand how hard it is to be going through something and feel like you're completely alone in your struggle. But you know what? You are not alone, and you matter.
Additionally, I also have a physical disability (CP) and am completely open talking to anyone about disability issues as well.
