...See more Hi, I am currently on stress leave. I have been having a really really bad year and a half. I took a supervisor role last year that has been a nightmare. It recently got so bad that I had to go on stress leave starting last week. I am still working with my benefits company and don't know how long I will be off. But I feel very hopeless, like I can't handle anything, even a demoted non-leadership job. I am working from home now (pre-stress leave) and as many of you know, it's very, very difficult when you already deal with anxiety so even taking a job I did before I took the supervisor role is making me incredibly nervous and scared. I just have no self-confidence and it's unbearable to even speak to people sometimes. I tend to take everything personally and cannot deal with even an iota of confrontation. It makes it really dificult to work. Has anyone gone through this? if so, how did you deal with it? I would really like to talk to someone who went on stress leave and how they handled it.
