...See more (Sorry if this comes across snippy this is my third time writing this to site keeps re setting) im 16 and have been dealing with likely POTS and EDS. I say likely because it’s impossible to get a proper diagnose when my parents refuse to take any of my doctors referrals or recommendations. Although I’m pretty sure my doctors diagnosed me with some sort of postural blood pressure thing and  hypermoblity but I digress. Things have gotten so hard. The pain keeps getting worse my hr keeps getting bigger and I’m able to walk and do less and less just making the pain worse. I struggle in school and my grades have dropped. I can’t get through a day. A 504 was meant to be sent in but it’s been 3 months and I don’t even know what’s on it. My dad has told me a few things but won’t show me. One thing being he took off putting my feet up because he “didn’t want me to cause issues for my teachers and be a problem”. So I don’t even know if it will help me at this point. I do have an amazing group of people surrounding me outside of parental figures but on one hand I don’t want to burden my friends more then I already do, and on the other just what someone to relate to. I’m worried about my future about jobs and aspirations. And I guess I just want someone who gets it I suppose.  Thanks for reading my rant if you’ve gotten this far it means the world 💜

What’s a cardiologist appointment going to entail

...See more Hi, I’m not sure what to put this under. Next week I’m finally going to a pediatric cardiologist for the first time. I’ve only really seen my family doctor up until now, and she’s the sweetest but I really don’t have experience with any other doctors.  My family doctor thinks I have POTS and wants me to look into that. I’m not sure if that’s been communicated to the Cardio yet or not, and I’m not really sure how to bring it up? Or what else might be important to bring up? I am taking salt pills now and they’re helping so I know I should bring that up but I don’t know if anything else should be brought up as well? Besides my symptoms, like my diet or stuff like that? I’m also wondering if they’ll want to take my blood again, or if the ones from 6 months ago would be fine? I have a massive fear of needles. So yeah that’s fun. Would they need to schedule a different appointment to test for POTS or send me else wear? I’m not really sure how getting diagnosed works at all. I guess I’m just scared and have more questions then answers. thank You if you answered any of this it means the world 💜

...See more Hello! I want to start by saying I think the site looks cool now, I really like the more smooth style, however I think group chats are /extremely/ hard to get to. I know personally I don’t often use my path, as well as many of my friends, so I don’t fully understand why that might be at the top yet not group chats. As well I am yet to figure out how to search for listeners or put in a general listener request. I think what I liked a lot about the old design is everything was very straight forward and one or 2 clicks away, I think I would really like if searching for listeners was right on top as well as the group chats as said.
