For the majority of my life I have been a listener as opposed to a talker. I love hearing people’s stories and different life experiences. From my personal experience creating a safe space for people to speak their thoughts can be healing. I understand this is not a new concept however it is one I have witnessed firsthand as successful. The older I get the more comfortable I am with just letting people vent and work out their issues without me telling them how I would personally handle it. A trait that is not always easy for the untrained.
