...See more I recently left a long overdue toxic relationship that I have been in for years. It has been non-romantic and pretty much over for years, but neither of us would make the first move, so I finally did.. I recently met someone and went on a first date. I find myself suddenly full of fear and now I think my dormant attachment issues are surfacing. I am afraid of letting myself open to getting hurt again..
