It's been rough
Anxiety Support / by Beetle2022

...See more At the suggestion of my psychiatrist I'm trying this out. I've struggled to seek out support, but need it. This year has been incredibly rough on me. Most recently I've been struggling with the loss of my first long-term, serious relationship. At one point in the relationship we'd even talked about marraige, so the sudden loss of the relationship has been extremely hard on me. We were living together and now the house seems really empty without her here. My anxiety has been through the roof with panic attacks sometimes multiple times per day. I've accepted the relationship is over and we remain really good friends, the house just feels really empty now. I really would like to get out of my house and meet new people, but it's hard. I'm not one to go out of my way to leave my house and don't have any friends nearby to go out with. I want to meet new people and make new friends, but I don't know how to do that when I'm too scared to go out somewhere by myself. On top of all that, I have been struggling a lot with my physical health. I was diagnosed with NAFLD earlier this year and ended up needing an MRI to determine how much scarring my liver had. For a while my Dr was telling me that I could possibly have major scarring which was causing me a lot of anxiety. Recently I found out I have no scarring after my MRI (yay!). All of that anxiety has now gone to worrying about some bad blood test results showing a lot of inflammation in my body. I have a colonoscopy in Dec to rule out some of the possible causes, but all of the unknown is just making my anxiety worse. If you've made it this far in my long story of my anxiety this year, thank you. It's just seemed like one thing keeps piling on top of the other and it's time to reach out for additional support.
