...See more I suppose to put things simply. I just need to let things off my chest. I have started cutting people out of my life one by one. Truthfully and sadly it hasn't been difficult. All I had to do was not message first. For others they only message or call when they need or want something. Now don't get me wrong, I have no problems helping anyone with anything. But after a point... It's like, I don't even get a hey how are you? How's things? Just hey can you help me. Well I quit doing those things as well. Now I am apparently, selfish, narcissistic, self centered and all about myself. Which I guess is fine, I've been called worse. It has taken me 37 years to get here and it sucks it really does it's just unfortunately either that or I remain miserable.

...See more People think it's just mood swings. Highs and lows. But it’s so much deeper than that it’s like being trapped between two versions of yourself, and never being sure which one is real. There are days when I feel like I can do anything where my mind is buzzing, lit up with ideas, energy, purpose. It’s like I’m finally who I’m supposed to be. But that feeling doesn’t last. It never does. Then there are the crashes. And those are... different. They’re not just sadness. It’s more like being erased from the inside out. I stop feeling connected to people, to the world, even to myself. I’ll be surrounded by life, but everything feels numb. Or heavy. Like I’m breathing underwater. And the worst part? I know I’ve felt good before. I remember feeling alive. But in that dark space, it feels like that version of me never existed. Like joy is something I imagined. And it makes me feel broken, like I’ll never get back to being real again. I don’t always talk about it. Sometimes I laugh, or say I’m just tired. Sometimes I disappear, because I don’t want to be seen like that hollow, low, unreachable. It’s not that I don’t want help… it’s that I don’t always know how to ask for it. Or believe I deserve it. I’m trying, though. Every day I wake up and keep going that’s a choice I make. Some days it’s harder than others. Some days I carry shame for the chaos, the silence, the weight. But I also carry hope. Even if it’s small, even if it’s fragile. I carry it. Because deep down, I want to heal. I want to feel whole not just when I’m manic or motivated but in the quiet moments too. I want to believe I’m not broken. That I’m just a human being, living through something incredibly hard… and still here. Still fighting.

The ones who walk through the night

...See more The light grows thin at the edge of thought, Where silence screams and hope is caught. A shadow creeps where laughter died A place where broken spirits hide. Each step is heavy, carved in stone, A path that's walked, but walked alone. The stars seem cold, the sky withdrawn, A soul unsure if it will see the dawn. Yet in that void where few dare tread, Where dreams decay and joy plays dead, There lives a spark dim, but unbroken A silent strength, in words unspoken. Not all who fall are lost to the night, Some wear the dark, and still burn bright. The world, it needs not only light But also those who’ve learned to stand and fight. For who can save the drowning soul? Not one untouched, but one made whole By scars and screams, and battles faced By walking t hrough, not looking away.

...See more As someone who basically has no friends, no family or anyone else to say the things that are in my mind to. Hopefully I can do that here. It's pretty a really tough month, I can't lie. It knocked me down and out for a while. At this point I don't know what to believe in, what my mind tells me and what is reality becomes two different things where the lines are blurred. Depression has really taken its toll on me. I never go out to do things. I don't talk to or associate with anyone really. I have gotten where I hermit here on my couch and now I'm here. Idk what I expect to find. Or if I will find anything at all. But for some reason I keep trying. Keep looking for anything that may give a semblance of hope.

...See more I guess I am just attempting to try anything that may help. I'm B, 37 and severe depression. I have struggled for years but I admit that it consistently gets worse and now it's hit the point where getting out of bed is a win and if I manage to shower it's a good day. I've tried reaching out and talking to people it honestly makes it worse a lot of the time. I'm in therapy and in medication for several years. I've done everything I know how. Now it's gotten so bad that I can literally feel the weight of it all on my chest. I have basically spiraled down so far even in concerned about myself and where it'll lead. I don't know if this will help or work. But I'm at least going to be able to say I tried.
