Are Suicidal Thoughts Normal?

...See more I haven't made an actual plan or anything for years, but every day, it seems, i have a mental vision of me offing myself. Is this normal? I'm under so much stress and just want to cry. I have a goof job, my own place, a new car, and full custody of my son, but I'm still... Sad. I don't know what to do anymore. Its getting worse inside my head and im scared if I don't get help soon, I really will off myself. Something in life is missing and I have no idea what it is. Anyway, are suicidal thoughts normal? Should I be concerned or is this just a cut that will heal?
