I’m a nursing student set to graduate in a little over a year. My goal is to become a family nurse practitioner and help diagnose and treat people in need. One day, I plan on volunteering my time on mission trips to help indigenous communities and travel the world.

Good listener.
They were an excellent listener, giving compassionate and understanding replies demonstrating active listening. I came on feeling very anxious, but felt substantially better afterward, more calm and motivated. At first I was talking about a difficult situation with my partner, and then we actually got into a really interesting conversation about self-improvement through the IFS model of psychotherapy. It was quite intellectually stimulating, and helps change my focus from on my problems to on ways of making it better. I really appreciated how they were open to listen, but also to be a genuine human, and share their own thoughts in an easy going and polite way.
