Bio

Hi! Some of my hobbies are pottery, reading, games, and bird/place watching. I also collect Squishmallows, stamps, and buttons. I have a dog, 2 rats, and 3 moss balls.

We can talk about anything you like, even if it's not anything you're struggling with. I am not active regularly, so I don't usually do long-term connections. I am most active on Wednesday-Thursday from 12pm-5pm.

Practicing Humility: Strength in Softness

...See more Humility is often misunderstood as weakness or passivity—but in reality, it’s a quiet strength. True humility means being grounded in your self-worth without needing to prove you're better than anyone else. It’s recognizing that we all have room to grow, that we all make mistakes, and that we can always learn from others, regardless of status, age, or background. In leadership and relationships, humility builds trust. Humble people listen more than they talk. They ask questions. They admit when they’re wrong. They don't cling to the need to be right—they value connection and understanding more. This opens space for genuine collaboration, empathy, and mutual respect. Humility doesn’t mean diminishing yourself. It means holding confidence and curiosity together, knowing your worth while remaining open to learning and feedback. It’s one of the most disarming and inspiring qualities someone can embody. How do you recognize humility in others? Have you ever had to set aside pride to build connection or understanding? What happened?

The Power of Presence in Leadership and Everyday Life
IDG 7 Cups Hub / by CocoaTempleton

...See more Presence isn’t just about being physically near someone. It’s about truly showing up—with your full attention, your open mind, and your calm, grounded energy. In leadership and support roles, presence communicates safety, attentiveness, and care. It means putting down your phone, silencing the inner to-do list, and tuning into the moment. When you are fully present, people feel seen, heard, and valued. In contrast, a distracted presence can lead others to feel invisible or dismissed, even if that wasn’t the intent. Cultivating presence takes practice, especially in a world full of distractions and mental clutter. But with awareness, we can slow down and choose to be present—even if just for a few deep breaths. Presence is also powerful in emotional support. Sometimes, people don’t need advice—they just need someone to sit with them, acknowledge their emotions, and offer nonjudgmental space. That kind of presence can be profoundly healing. When was a time someone’s presence (or lack of it) made a big impact on you? How do you personally practice being present in your day-to-day interactions?

...See more hi everyone! my name is jailey. long story short, i tested out of 8th grade at 14 and started high school online and graduated, started college at my local uni same year. im now 16, a sophmore, and still am struggling making friends. no one wants to really speak to me because im underage and i guess it makes them uncomfortable. i dont live on campus which makes it even harder to get to know people. im in 2 campus groups, and i work at the library on campus. i meet people all the time but it never goes past a simple interaction. has anyone else had a similar experience?
