...See more Hi, I’m feeling confused about something that’s happening to me: I met a guy in high school who I *** was cute (just physically—I feel bad about that). So I gave him a gift to get to know him better; he accepted it, but in private he told my friends that he’d rejected me because he didn’t want anything, although I want you to keep in mind that he said he didn’t have a girlfriend. After three days he didn’t come back and said he wasn’t going to return. But it turned out he didn’t come because he felt uncomfortable with me always chasing him with gifts; at the time, I was doing it as an excuse to get closer to him. Then it turns out he has a girlfriend, which is why I was surprised. The next day, I sent someone to call him to clarify the situation; feeling so much pressure from others and from what he was going thru (I didn’t know he was having problems), he said he wasn’t going to come with me. A few minutes later, he yelled at the person I’d sent, telling her to leave him alone in a hostile tone, and he set boundaries with her, not with me, which I found a bit confusing. Well, the next day I went up to that person, asked what happened, and they explained everything to me. When I saw him walking by, I decided it was best to speak clearly. He approached me as if nothing had happened; we talked about boundaries, about everything—even how he was feeling at that moment—and he asked me to be his friend. He couldn’t help shaking my hand a couple of times, even tho he was sweating, haha. He said everything calmly and with a constant smile, which drove me a little crazy. But still, I guess I appreciate it. What do you think about this situation?
