Hi there! I am here hoping to be a helpful source to listen to anything you may be going through. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology & Criminal Justice and aspire to become a counsellor. Right now I work as a youth worker with people ages 12-29. I hope I can be a place of comfort for the time we speak!

...See more Hi there - posting more so to hear other peoples thoughts on this. I was brought up in a Christian home in a very diverse area. Throughout my life I have been exposed to many different religions and have taken my time to learn about them. I never found that the teachings of the bible were something that calmed me - instead I often felt plagued by more questions each time something was answered. It created a lot of stress for me.  As life has gone on I have begun to think of spirituality with less strictness. That whatever I chose to believe of the world around me should be something that brings me peace. My personal beliefs come from all around and they run on the primary rule of do good onto others and good will come to you. I practice this through mantras and positive thought that have nothing to do with a specific god but rather the universe. If this makes any sense or sounds familiar I would love to hear your thoughts
