Depression Support / by DaManJunpei

...See more Hi, I'm 17 and I've been struggling with these issues for twoish years. I apologize if I sound awkward or anything, I've been constantly given the impression that venting in a public space is just "attention seeking" and it's wrong. Anyways, I don't feel my story is anything special. Two years ago, I was in my second year of high school, I was already being comsumed a bit by depression, not being able to focus on work, opting to be on my phone during classes, I just distanced myself and tried to get by, which didn't really work. One of my friends online, who I was good friends with despite only being only online, killed herself during the school year, and it left me very broken. After the school year, I asked my parents if I could pursue online school, but I still haven't felt comfortable with going back to school either way. I hadn't felt any change in months, despite taking medication and seeing a psychiatrist. Went on like this for many months, and then a trainwreck hit our family. My Aunt Well, technically one of them, one of my mom's sisters. She is one person I could say I hate. Long story short, she birthed an autistic son, caused herself and the father to lose custody because of their arguments, the father worked to make sure the child had a home (he got rights back), she continued being an alcoholic and things just got worse. It's just what's made my condition even worse, and now that she's out of our house (and hopefully) our lives
