Well, hello there! :) I am glad that you came to 7 Cups of Tea for support and that you have found my profile.

I have a background in Substance Abuse/Mental Health Counseling. My story is a long a drawn out one, but I feel that my personal experiences, paired with my educational/professional background could potentially make me a decent resources and sounding board. Even if you don't need a 1-on-1 session, I am often in the LGBTQ+ Support Room, feel free to stop by and say, "Hi".

I enjoy reading, getting lost, yelling in the middle of the woods, most things water related, and films.

Just a few suggestions concerning the rooms...

...See more I have only been around around here at 7 Cups for a couple months, but there are a few things that I have noticed...and I have a few suggestions... It might be helpful to add a few additional rooms - -Addictions Support -Women's Issues (i.e. child bearing, monthly, etc - things that might make male members a little uncomfortable) -Men's Issues (same idea, issues that are unique to male members) -Parenting while mentally ill -Personality Disorders Also, some rooms that are a bit more specific - There is a LGBTQ+ Room, but sometimes Trans and Asexual folks don't really have a platform there. I have seen both ends of it - that is where I spend most of my time on here - I think that it could be helpful for these folks to have their own platforms. :) I know - it's a bit much to ask...I just want to help make a great place even better.
