...See more Hi, I just need someone to help me clarify my thoughts maybe. I been seeing this guy every weekend for about two months. Long story short, I broke things off today (we weren’t technically in a relationship) because he said he’s going to probably be moving for school in a year and he doesn’t do distance, neither do i. Idk if I’d be willing to move with him in a year, as I don’t know him and getting attached would hurt me if we don’t continue. When I asked him how he can date knowing he’ll move, he said him and his ex broke up last February for that reason. He said he still misses her and they were a lot alike, which made me feel even worse because like, would he still be with her? I didn’t ask because I was already crying a lot at this point. There were several things I already didn’t like, he comments on other women’s attractiveness, and I liked spending time with him but felt like I was missing out on my weekends (I just got out of an abusive relationship of six years in December so I finally get to do things again). But now, of course, I feel like I’m missing out on something special with him and I can’t tell if I’m just feeling that way bc we spent so much time together recently or if it was something that could really grow. He said he doesn’t do cheaters or cheating either but some of the comments he’d make, made me question this. Then him saying he misses his ex, and that they were a lot alike, makes me question the cheating thing just bc what if they could be together again?
