I've struggled with anxiety for years and I know what it's like to fear your own thoughts. I've talked myself in to and out of all kinds of imagined medical emergencies. I know what it's like to sit there in bed, shaking with adrenaline, waiting for the fear to stop. I know how the paranoia and distrust of other people can make friendships really hard to maintain.
