I am six months away from completing my Bachelor's in psychology, with the intention of obtaining my Master's in counseling. My concentration will be in working with children and teens diagnosed with ADHD to provide understanding and a positive environment that fosters self-esteem not frustration. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 13 and have a son with ADHD. It can be a difficult diagnosis for a patent to live with if you do not have ADHD yourself, and even more difficult of you're a kid trying to fit a "mold". ADHD can be a gift if you're given understanding and support!
