I've battled mental illness for years and it took me along time to get over my negative thoughts andmove on with life. I have worked hard, have help from professionals, friends, and family to move forward. Words, for me, are like crutches - they can help me move forward. Here is an example of one of the things I told myself during my recovery: "You will be a better person than you were before all this happened". I want to give that to others too - the ability to take control of their lives again after adifficult situation. It is not easy, but it is made easier with the right tools and the right support system behind you. I am a certified from Jack.org, as well as a Mental Health first aid and Medical First Responder certification with several years of experience. I specialize in helping people with depression, anxiety and self-harm issues - by guiding them through self-awareness and using situation-based exercises coupled with just "talking it out" when they can't find a way to overcome it on their own. Be prepared: I'm an understanding toughie when it comes to being there for my clients. There are no sugarcoats, only solutions that work for each individual. We will respect your rhythm and follow your needs but in a challenging way that can drive your recovering.
