“Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow”
~Swedish proverb
Hi there. My name is Eliza. I'm glad you found your way here and are considering reaching out for support. I have experienced some extremely difficult and painful times in my own life, and I know it can be very hard at times to believe things truly can get better. I really believe that with the right support and practice, it is possible for you to not only survive, but thrive. My role in our interactions is not to tell you what to do or provide a quick fix, but to be your collaborator and guide in your process of figuring out how to live the life you want to be living.
Often, those who reach out are looking for support around; learning coping tools they can use to become more resilient, reaching their goals, gaining relief from pain, loneliness, depression, hopelessness, or anxiety, moving beyond a "stuck" place, processing a loss or trauma, adjusting to life changes, building healthy habits or relationships, or increasing fulfillment, connection, and happiness in their lives. I aim to provide a space where you feel safe and understood, and collaborate with you to enable you to live the life you want to be living.
If you are thinking of harming yourself, please refer to the 7 cups crisis page, which has provides links to crisis lines, so you can talk to someone right away. Befrienders Worldwide also provides crisis resources (under the Help & Support tab).
All I can say is thank you.
