...See more I've been struggling with mental illnesses since I was only 9 years old. This has been a struggle for me ever since I was a kid. I never thought I'd make it so far. when Im going through a really rough week, like this week, I need to hear a few things to make me feel in touch with myself and other people. Isolation for a long period of time has ill effects on everybody, and I know that youre having a hard time occupying yourself with activities. Just in case its been making any of you feel sad or unhappy, I wanted to let you guys know Im always here for you— rain or shine. I also wanted to tell you that no matter how much it hurts, youre deserving of happiness. Your pain, fears, and worries are temporary because you are surrounded by love and affection. if youre worried about your future or how your life is going to pan out, you need to realize youre braver and stronger than all of your fears. and nobody can take that strength away from you, not even yourself. when you step out of your comfort zone to learn or just relax, you should realize that even baby steps are still steps and youre making progress towards whatever you wish to become. ok, thats all, I just wanted to make sure youre okay & youre safe & happy in your own mind.

I think it takes a lot of courage to be able to listen to someone you haven’t even met, and won’t ever meet. She has made me feel extremely safe and comfortable the entire time I spoke with her. She asked me for my pronouns instead of assuming, which I found very nice because not too many listeners do that.
