Living with Shame/Guilt

...See more Everyday of my life I live with shame and guilt.  It weighs so heavily on me that I have systematically pushed every person in my life away. I am completely alone now. I get up, put on a fake smile, go to work, suffer through the day pretending to be normal and well adjusted, then go home to my solitude, depression, sadness, shame and guilt and sit there, alone wondering how I fix it all, or how I live with it. There are days its so heavy I just can't do it so I call in sick and lay in the bed, in the dark all day. This has been going on for over 10 years now.  I just wonder if there are others out there like me, living like this, and if so how do you do it?  Its getting so hard for me.
