...See more About a week and a half ago after going a year and a half without drinkingnmy husband decided to grab himself some alcohol. He had had quite a bit to drink. Which of course when this happens he gets hateful and starts name calling which is bad enough. However this being the third time its happened in our relationship of 15 years I told him we were done. I tried to walk away and he grabbed my arm on a flight of stairs which set menteetering lucky enough I caught myself before I fell down the flight of stairs. This really frightened me. He never had laid his hands on me before. I walked down the stairs quietly and got in the car cause it was parked in the wrong location. He followed me and began arguing with me because I took his car and house key as I didnt want him drinking and driving or bothering our minor children during the night. This was all taking place outside while their aunt was inside with them. He continued to struggle with me and I ended up getting punched across the face. I honked the horn to disorient him and pushed him back and asked him to get off me. He did so I shut the door and he punched the window. Again this had me shaken to the core so I contacted the police as I had visible Mark's on my arm and face from where he grabbed and hit me. Again never had he touched me before this. The police showed up and ended up being overly rough breaking his arm. I feel broken and small and like I lost my strength. I love him very much but I'm lost for words.
