I'm available almost all the time on weekends. Depending on my schedule during the week, I will most likely be able to talk from 7:00-14:00.

...See more So, bit of background context. I am in a military family and we have moved around everywhere. That means no place to call home and no people to stay friends with. Sounds rough, but I'm used to it. Anyway, I moved to another home for 1st grade and I met two friends. We became really close. But I moved away again, but not far. Only about 15 minutes away. But I changed schools. I didn't see them nearly as often. We still hung out and talked over phone. We've been friends for as long as I remember. Since 1st grade, it has been 8 years. ------------------------- Now, here comes the rough part. I moved away again. This time over an hour away. Now there's close to no hope in seeing each other again irl. But we made do with what we had and texted and called. But then teenage years came along. And with that is a lot of emotions (obviously). I recently broke up with my (now ex)-joyfriend and I was distraught. By this time, I didn't really talk much to one of my friends because she had her phone taken almost all the time, but I always talked to the other. Because of the emotions of teenagers and highschool AND the breakup, I was kinda a mess mentally. She was the person I could talk to truthfully and fully. But I left my emotions unchecked and then eventually she slowly became my "therapist", not my friend. I couldn't treat her like that. She deserves better. So I stopped texting her. I didn't block her number or anything. I didn't hate her. I loved her like a sister. But she never texted back, so I guess what I did was for the better. But still, I feel like something could've been different. She was, she still is, amazing. She's funny, smart, pretty, caring, and she lets herself feel emotions proudly. She is an amazing person. And I feel like I brought her down with how I was treating her. I want to talk to her again, and I talked to my parents about it, but they said sometimes people drift apart and move on. I can't do that. I'm the person to keep holding on no matter what. It's something I shouldn't do, but I can't help myself. It feels like she's the one who got away, but as a friend.
