...See more I was abused as a kid and grew up with unhealthy coping mechanisms. I would steal alcohol and take it to school as often as I could get away with it, and I loved the feeling of being drunk. I was scared o become a legal adult because I knew I'd have easier access, but it seemed to settle down. However I've always only drank to get drunk, I t was just less frequent. Then, around December, I started going through phases of getting drunk a few nights in a row. Half a bottle of whisky a day for at least 4 days in a row. I know its not the worst, but I know what it could become. Do I have a problem? I just want to be able to recognise it.
