As a champion for equity and inclusion, I have worked with people from all walks of life and all across the globe. My background includes working with patients at the height of the AIDS epidemic to volunteering with teen runaway shelters and serving as a domestic violence counselor for families. I am also a member of the Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in foster care. I'm a parent, a sister, an aunt, a friend and a mentor.
