...See more I am agoraphobic and have an anxiety disorder (among other things). I was very attentive at church with my husband, we made friends, did things together and enjoyed life. For awhile. The agoraphobia is back, I don't know what triggered it. But I have only left my home 3 times in 2 months. Doc visits I had to go to. I stopped attending church, because of the panic attacks and having been in over 3 months. (I was a 3xs a week person). Friends have reached out, but they do not understand how it feels to suffer from this. They have compassion but no real knowledge of what I am dealing with. So they throw out 'simple' solutions, and it makes me withdraw further. My husband is great and supportive as much as he can be. But I miss idle chitchat with girlfriends. Laughter. That is why I went in search of forums....
