Bio
I am a full time music teacher in California and enjoy leading personal development workshops and incorporating character development into my public high school curriculum. I am an introvert at heart but have learned the value of going outside my comfort zone to grow and develop. Sometimes I make the conscious decision to exert courage, try new things, and push myself toward a goal. More often, life forces me to adapt and I strive to learn from my many mistakes. I enjoy sports and competition, reading (some of my favs -"Ready, Player One," "The Alchemist," "The Iron Druid Chronicles," "The Name of the Wind," and "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers") playing Xbox, watching Netflix, and making new friends. I have lived on both coasts of the United States and in Scotland.
A good listener is someone who lends his shoulder to another person in need; that's what people here expect from us and I will definitely give you mine if you want to. But remember, I'm not here to solve your problems. I'm here to support you in your own decisions.
I'm not a professional. I am just a volunteer. I'm not getting paid because I believe most people don’t need money to help; they simply need to know that they are helping somehow and others are grateful for it. Having said that, feel free to request a chat when I'm online.
'If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?' And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something." - Steve Jobs
