I am currently enrolled at the university at Albany embarking on my senior year. My major is sociology while minoring in social welfare. I'm excited about the prospect of volunteering at a 7 Cups listening mental health line since it presents a fantastic chance to truly impact people's lives. It is incredibly fulfilling to be able to sincerely listen to and help someone who is experiencing emotional difficulties. I'm interested in learning more about the intricate connections between mental health and human resilience as a result of this experience. I want to develop my own empathy, patience, and compassion by helping others.
