Hello!

I'm a listener on 7 Cups to make you feel heard and support you without judgement. Helping people and making people feel better is my passion. Life can be tough, but you are strong enough to make it through. We are all unique, and have our own problems, but you are not alone. Never forget that you are great, you matter, and you deserve to be heard. Please look at the list of issues that I want to discuss first! I will likely not be able to support you if your issue is not on that list.

Do not hesitate to reach out if you want to vent, or just have a little talk. I try to respond as quick as possible.

Who am I?

I'm a 23 year old student from the Netherlands, currently trying to become a teacher. As a teacher, I want to make everyone in my classroom feel seen and heard.

Every student- well, every human has a story behind them. These stories shape who you are as a human being. The behaviour the students show during class have a reason. It is my job to understand my students better and look through their behaviour. Doing this, I can create a connection with my students and create a safe space for everyone. The pedagogic skills that I've developed during my study will come in handy during a chat with you on 7 Cups.

I really like capybaras. Capybaras are very social and chill animals. They are everyone's friends. Capybara's manage to stay calm, even when the world around them is chaotic. Human's could learn something from the capybara if you look at it that way.

I like playing Tetris. Sometimes, Tetris reminds me of life. In Tetris, you never know which pieces you will get, but no matter what, you will keep trying your best to make the puzzle work.

Lastly, I enjoy watching football (soccer). In football, the game can change in a single moment. But this doesn't keep you from trying again next time. Together with your teammates and some patience, you will be able to bounce back stronger than before.

Thank you for reading my profile, and again, don't hesitate to reach out 🙂
