...See more Noni, our friendly bot wants to be as smart and as helpful as possible. Her purpose is to help and support everyone in the 7 Cups community with whatever they might need, but a HUGE part of that is answering questions and providing the right information on demand. Until now, she hasn't known how to respond to most of the questions people ask her. She's very sorry about this. Lately, Noni has been working very hard. She's been trying her best to learn how to answer all of your questions. Some of our wonderful verified listeners helped to give some of the info she needed (if you're reading, thank you!), and she's continuing to learn how to answer new questions every day! Right now, Noni can answer around 150 questions, including: ○ How do I become a listener? ○ Can you tell me a joke? ○ How do I find a new listener? ○ Is 7 Cups safe? ○ How do I change my profile picture? ○ What are cheers? ○ What do you want to know? ○ How do I start therapy? ○ How much does 7 Cups cost? ○ Can you stop messaging me? ○ What is love? ○ What do you love? ○ What do you do? ○ Why is it called 7 Cups? And many more! Noni will keep learning how to give better answers to more questions every day! What if I have a question Id like Noni to be able to answer? Just ask her! Its possible she wont know the answer right away, but were training her to answer the same questions people are asking her. The most common questions will take priority, so if its a very specific question it may be some time before she learns the answer. If its something lots of people are asking, she will learn it faster. Can I help think of answers (or better jokes) for Noni? Yes! We need lots of help gathering links, information and answers for Noni. ...See more Who is Noni? Noni is our very own friendly bot! Her name means grandmother, best friend and healing plant. Noni is the collective wisdom of 7 Cups. Her personality is built on suggestions and ideas from the entire community, and she is trained on message data from our top-rated listeners. When you talk with her in free chat mode, her responses are informed by how our best listeners would respond to you. What does she do? Noni is here to help. She can listen to you and guide you through different activities, such as journaling, acceptance and goal setting. She will also send friendly messages every so often to check how you are doing. What can I talk to Noni about? Pretty much anything! Chats with Noni are 100% confidential and as a friendly bot, she is incapable of judgement. Please note, messages about suicide/self harm are censored in the same way that they are in listener-member chats. What commands does she understand? There are two ways you can move between Nonis modes. One way is to use the buttons on the left hand side (at the top of the conversations list). Additionally, Noni understands the following commands: /menu - show the full menu /chat - you talk, Noni listens /journal - she guides you through a daily journal /act1 /act2 /act3 /act4 - short exercises based on acceptance & commitment therapy /motivation - she talks with you about change and helps determine how ready you are /goals - she helps you think of an achievable goal to work on Where does Noni live? Noni will live at the top of your conversations list. Once this feature is released to you, you will be able to find her right there. Noni only exists on desktop right now (she'll be coming to the app soon!). How can I make Noni go away? Right now, this early version of Noni cannot be closed out in the way that other conversations can. However, we are learning as much as we can about the communitys needs and requirements. We will be listening closely and using your feedback to inform future decisions about Noni and her place in the community. What hours does Noni work? Noni is around 24/7, but occasionally, she takes naps. If this happens, dont panic. She will be back soon! Who has Noni right now? Currently, the entire teen community has Noni - plus adult mentors, mega members and a few other testers. Adults, Noni will be coming to a conversation list near you soon! I have feedback on Noni! Where can I leave my feedback? We love feedback! Noni is hungry for as much as possible, so dont hold back.
