Bio

Hi, I’m Harris. My journey has been filled with ups and downs, shaped by both the experiences I’ve faced and the ways I’ve learned to cope with them. Growing up, I dealt with a lot of emotional challenges, including childhood trauma, feelings of attachment issues, and the impact of bullying. These experiences left me with a lot to process, and I spent many years feeling disconnected, anxious, and struggling with body shame. Anxiety has been a constant companion, and the fear of judgment from others often made it difficult to fully embrace who I am.

But through all of this, I’ve found strength in self-awareness, physical movement, and creativity. For me, stargazing, running, and cycling at night became essential ways to calm my mind and reset emotionally. The peacefulness of the night sky and the rhythm of moving my body help me reconnect with myself, especially when life feels overwhelming.

I also find a lot of healing through art, poetry, and drawing. These creative outlets allow me to express emotions I sometimes can’t put into words. They help me process the overload of feelings, especially on days when everything seems out of control.

While I’ve experienced periods of emotional numbness and extreme emotional highs, I’ve worked hard to develop routines that keep me balanced. I recognize when my emotions are getting overwhelming, and I’ve learned to pause, reflect, and prioritize my well-being. That balance also involves making sure I take care of my physical health through diet, sleep, and exercise.

Through my own experiences, I’ve come to understand the importance of emotional healing and how it affects not just your mental health but your overall quality of life. The trauma I experienced as a child, especially with attachment issues, has made it harder at times to trust or connect deeply with others, but it’s also given me the motivation to work on healing and breaking those cycles.

I’m successfully changing my life by working toward my goal of becoming a radiologist. I’m also currently a part-time teacher, which has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve worked with special needs kids, and it’s given me a deep sense of purpose. Helping others, especially those who face their own challenges, has been a major motivator in my own growth.

Even though I’ve dealt with bullying and body shame, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve learned to care less about the opinions of others and more about how I feel about myself. Anxiety may still show up from time to time, but I’m no longer letting it control me. It’s something I continue to work through, and each day is a step toward a more grounded version of myself.

I’m passionate about mental health and supporting others who’ve experienced similar struggles. While I’m not formally trained, I’ve become more informed about mental health resources and ways to help those around me. My hope is that by sharing my story and connecting with others, we can all heal together and break the stigma around mental health.

I’m committed to changing my life for the better, and I believe anyone can do the same with the right support and self-awareness.

Never Forgotten Scar

...See more People say time heals the wounds, but it only leaves the scars scars that remind you what happened. But my question is: does time ever heal the scar? Does it heal the scar that bleeds without blood? Or does time just turn wound into scar, just to fool people? Maybe it was never meant to heal only to hide.

Some Shredded Dreams

...See more A little joy once ran free, chasing a ball, hands up in the air, screaming happiness into open streets. Running to stop the ball, running to strike it with a bat— but now those hands don’t even remember how to hold it. Did you cut your hands, or did you make them useless? What about the hands that taught you how to dream— did you forget them, or did you betray them? Why did you stop running in the streets? Don’t they feel familiar anymore? Can’t you hear your younger screams echoing between the walls? Little dreams in a small head turn into echoes, slowly fading— just like the strength in those hands. The child starts to hide, while the grown adult shows up every day, wearing responsibility like armor. As you hold the ball again, you remember him— crying for it, begging for just a little time to play. Now it’s all echoes, unknown photos, half-remembered handshakes, distant screams. Time didn’t heal it. Time killed it. The little kid didn’t grow up— he faded. And what remains is a grown adult, full of silence, full of void. -Just an old written lines-

The One who holds

...See more Are you willing to run with me through the darkness until we reach the light? Or were you always meant to leave me behind in the shadows? You pretended to be a saviour, but you were the one who led me into the darkness in the first place. Do you even hear the echo calling my name inside the dark? Sometimes I wonder— did that echo become my only friend? Did the darkness adopt me? Did it understand my pain, my silent screams, the way you never could? You were supposed to guide me toward the light. So where are you now? Are you scared of me? I feel cold here— there’s no warm place to hide. The cold crawled inside me, and now it feels like a part of me. I don’t want warmth anymore. I don’t want to run from this darkness— it feels like home now. Did you ever think how much of me the darkness consumed? I shook hands with it; we became friends. It doesn’t haunt me anymore— but it will haunt you. Darkness is gentle, a strange light for people like us— the ones others left behind while chasing a brightness they were never meant to reach. Are you scared of me now? Do nightmares haunt you? They don’t haunt me anymore— they became my beautiful dreams. And if you ever need a hand in this darkness… it’s still here for you.

...See more Tell me, is it stabbed by your own hopes? Or by the very hands that once promised to feed and protect you? Can you feel it bleed? Or have you covered it with the band-aid of fake love? Are you meant to heal… or only to scratch the same wound again and again? Tell me, are you a healer? Or the one who sets the wound on fire? Can you feel the bleeding inside, the trembling pain in the chest? Red eyes… sad faces… breaths that hurt more than the truth itself. Can you see it? Can you hear it? Can you heal it?

...See more Where do colorless people go? Where do we hide our black-and-white pain? Why do others try to paint us in colors we were never meant to wear Why do they complain when we finally begin to change— when the gray inside us shifts, even slightly, toward something new? Why do we feel empty, like an old vintage frame gathering dust in a forgotten attic? Why do we question ourselves as if our own thoughts were strangers? Will they ever understand us? Will they ever touch the wound that keeps bleeding beneath our silence? Will they hear our quiet crying when the whole world goes still? Are we human? Are we lost? Are we found? Or were we always meant to exist in black and white? -Just something I write and I know a lot of people relate if you feeling bad or depressed feel free to reach out-
