Can depression be incurable?

...See more Has anyone else suffered from major depressive disorder for years? Sometimes I feel "fine", or as I call it "my normal", but very rarely do I feel joy, and if I do, it's for a very short period of time and then I return to...blah. I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that this is just how it's going to be for me and I'll never truly be "cured". Am I missing something?
