Depression Ruins Everything

...See more The world never stops turning. I can't just stop and devote 100% of my time and resources to treating my depression. But I feel like my healing journey may never progress if I don't do something akin to that, because my depression is very resilient. Talk therapy and medication have been unsuccessful several times, and I simply don't have the time, money, or desire to go down that road again. My family doesn't speak to me: once I reached my 20s and their grandson reached his teens, my parents basically replaced me with him. They don't include me and they're no longer a resource I can call on. The last close friend I had deleted our facebook connection without a word and is no longer a friend. All I have is my partner, but she is much further along in her journey and gets frustrated when trying to help me. She has given me multiple ultimatums that she cannot stay with me if my depression continues untreated. I'm completely alone and I don't know where to turn. If I keep losing more, I may never come back.
