...See more Hello, everyone. I love 7 cups and think that this is a good idea. However, since I started I have trouble saying to members/guests that I have to go. And sometimes it's obvious that they want to keep talking and I do it. But in the end, I spend all night in here. Has anyone experienced this too?
Hormone replacement therapy
Relationship Stress / by IvanHerrejon0

...See more Common physical and psychological outcome of hormones include changes in food habits and sleep behaviors as well as a decrease in sexual desire and activities. Menopause is when a womans levels of estrogen decreases. The average age for this is between forty-two and fifty-eight. In addition, a hysterectomy can cause menopause if this process has not yet occurred. This is when the uterus is removed by surgery. Andropause is the equivalent of menopause for males. However, males do not undergo a decrease in reproductive ability. They do experience a decrease in sexual desire and erections. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is when an individual takes hormones in order to balance the ones lost because of age. This may have negative consequences because, according to the U.S. Womens Health Initiative, taking estrogen for more than ten years increases the probability of an individual developing breast cancer and heart diseases (U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, 2002). Nevertheless, there are good consequences too such as better thinking skills, and the replacement of hormones can also prevent dementia (Erickson & Korol, 2009; Greenwood & Parasuraman, 2012).
Stereotype threat

...See more Stereotype threat is when a person believes that he or she is a victim or a target of prejudice belief. This belief then causes anxiety, which makes cognitive processes work less efficiently. The following example will explain how an individuals performance can be affected by stereotype threat. If I was about to give a speech but I was experiencing stereotype threat, I would be thinking that the audience does not like me because of my nationality and thinks that my speech will be bad. This would create anxiety in me and I would lose focus and thus I would forget my speech. Stereotype threat is harmful because it negatively affects thinking. It can affect cognitive processes that are required for everyday life such as memory and logic (Schmader, 2010). In addition, it can close opportunities that can benefit a person such as being accepted into a college (Soares, 2012). How would you guys change this?

He helped me with my depression thoughts and helped me focus in my education so that I can acquire a more professional future
He was helpful and caring. He was there for me, even though the session ended up being too long. He didn't take long to answer to me. I would recomend him to everyone!
I started using 7cups because of a traumatic experience I have been through and, luckily, IvanHerrejon0 was my listener. He stayed with me during the whole time that I was feeling anxious, talked to me and helped me calm down. But most important, in my opinion, is that he was extremely professional and didn't judge me nor gave his personal opinion about the problem. He was there to calm me down and make me realize that I could go through this problem.
I feel like there are no words to express how thankful I am for Ivan and his help. Thank you, from all my heart.
You were very helpful and had good answers to every problem and questions. Thank you for the help.
“Thanks” is such a little word to carry a big load. But ı wanna say thank you. You are special person. you are special because you have a Sigmund Freud's soul. :)
