I am the mother of 29 year old drug addict. I suffer from chronic pain, depression and anxiety. I have 3 years of Social Work schooling and am in the process of trying to finish my degree. I am a rape and sexual abuse survivor. I am divorced from an emotionally abusive husband. My family is very dysfunctional and I have learned over the years that I can not fix them so my means of copping with it is to laugh and reassure myself that there are no perfect families.
