...See more Trigger warning . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Hey folks, I'm Jay. I have this person in my life who tried to steal my wife from me, I'm on paper with her. He tried claiming he married my wife. We know this person very well, and well, he's renting space in my head for free because I'm the jealous type. I'll explain it from my perspective. We were mutually dating this guy, he tried to get my wife and I to be divided. Now that I'm back to wanting monogamy, he says I can't be trusted and that I'm a liar so because I wanted a private married couple's conversation between two grown adults to happen in confidence so that I could hear my wife out. She chose me. He smirked when it came down to me going to get the divorce papers, she as she was going to sign an uncontested divorce stack of papers, she told me she still loves me and wants me, not him. Well, me and my wife are transgender and suffered because of his need for control over the situation. Now, I'm very blessed that I still have my wife. But, we're homeless and live in a shelter where this abusive man stays. I wrote him a pretty stern and strongly worded breakup letter via text. He was telling people that we're not legally married, so, I showed people my ID and my marriage certificate and my w9 affa davit proving that I changed my surname and the court's decree of legal name change that got mailed to my house when I was living in another state. So, Jess and I reported his abuse to the shelter, the shelter called the cops. The cops arrived, they logged the harassment because we're no longer his girlfriends anymore. He literally had the balls to call me a thief for going back to monogamy with my legally wedded spouse. And then proceeded to tell me that he had sex with my wife multiple times she rubbed it in Now, at this point I'm controlling my anger and I'm about to burst, but at the last second before losing my temper and fighting with him, he got written up for the 3rd time and told that if he gets written up anymore, he will be banned from all Smoc shelters. That's every shelter in my region and not just my state or area. So, he continues to harass us. I'm hoping that tomorrow, my wife and I can sit down with the manager in the morning and get him thrown out of the shelter because he's abusing me by using my wife's mental and emotional disabilities as ammo to trigger me. The point of this post is the following: What else can I legally do in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts about this man getting away with his abuse because every time we go to the detail officer on site, they don't do a damn thing!? If there's fear in my mind about him that he may hit me, then is it renting space in my head or a valid concern for my safety?
