...See more My girlfriend of just about five years decide late last week that she needed space. I questioned why and even asked if she was happy with our relationship. She said yes. I ask if she still loves me. She said yes. So I didnt know how to deal with this situation I tried talking to her for an hour to figure it out. Nothing worked. I feel like I was a fool to ultimately say a break is hard for me to accept so maybe we should just break up. It hurts thinking about the fact I said that now. However, this is the third time we have separated and she initiated all three. The second was my fault but its not worth sharing. Regardless, I realized that I love her so much and I truly wanted to marry her someday Im the near future. I believe she is my soulmate. I ended up writing a 2 page front and back hand written letter to her to explain that I will support her during her space from a distance and I love her very much. Im not sure what to expect. Im not sure what I want to hear. Im a bit jaded because Im so hurt and I dont want to believe she wants to see other people but Im letting my mind dive into that idea simply because I feel I wont be as hurt if my expectations of us getting back together are low. I love this girl with all my heart and Im lost. I dont if she feels the same. I mailed the letter 4 days ago. So it may have gotten there today, possibly tomorrow. Not quite sure.
