...See more I am new here. I have been struggling with depression, anxiety and dissociation for the majority of my life and this year got a diagnosis of CPTSD. I started seeing a therapist and quickly learned I didn't have the coping skills to handle that. I am now on FMLA and two weeks in to a PTSD and trauma program and it's really hard work. I often feel foggy and exhausted but I'm noticing that instead of dissociating or avoiding the thoughts and flashbacks (7 days without alcohol now!) I am mindful of them and just wanting to process them or at least keep learning about how they have impacted me and how to move forward. I feel all in to growing and learning and yet unable to talk with family and friends about it and hoping to find folks who understand for some more support.
