...See more Iv been chatting with a few listeners for a while and when I finally come close to opening up I always get the vibe that no one is really relating to me. I need someone who knows/belives dissociative identity disorder is real. Its been getting harder and harder to hide this from people around me. Iv been supressing the others for almost 11 years and now i feel like if i tell anyone they will think im lying because only 3 people in my life know. Im afraid people will think im lying for attention. This is something I have delt with alone for the last 5 years and I only recently (around 2 years ago) told my husband about my dissociative identity disorder. Iv never been diagnosed by a doctor because im worried about the consequences. Im afraid of being put on meds, or being publicly known as the crazy lady. I just have a lot of questions and I want to talk to someone who knows more about my situation.
