Could I be developing Social Anxiety?

...See more I feel like social situations and outings are starting to stress me out more and more. During conversations with friends or family, I often think to myself "wow, I'm so freaking annoying" or "that was a stupid thing to say" immediately after I say something to add to the conversation. The other day I went to a grocery store alone and felt really on edge and almost panicked the whole time. At the register I felt like I was fighting back tears. I want to go the the library today but I am too nervous about it so I am not going to. I feel like these kinds of feelings and scenarios have worsened over the past few weeks. Just a disclaimer, I don't mean to offend anyone who really suffers from social anxiety by thinking I might be developing it even when I haven't been formally diagnosed with anything. I am just seeking insight from others to try to understand how I'm feeling.
