Bio
Hi, welcome to my profile! My name is Kerrale (carol-e).
I've been diagnosed with a number of different conditions and even though some days are harder than the others, I've found ways to fight through them. I have anxiety, which basically feels like I have a major test or a job interview coming up most of the time! I also have a combined type of ADHD which is a blessing and a curse at the same time! It's basically like a rollercoaster of highs and lows - some days I'm super energetic, creative and able to focus on something for hours (also known as hyper focus) and some days I'm failing at normal - like getting to school on time, spending an hour looking for my pants, remembering to schedule appointments, spacing out in the middle of a conversation, and many others. I have also been diagnosed with dyslexia in 2nd grade, which is a learning disability making it difficult for me to read, spell, and express myself both verbally and in writing. But I've come a long way since then.
I love creative writing (even though spelling is a struggle), watching Law and Order or anything to do with criminal justice! I am a two-year varsity athlete in both basketball (small forward) and flag football (quarterback). I also played third baseman in softball last year.
After graduation, I'm planning to either go into professional sports or become an attorney...still deciding!
Some of my favorite quotes, either picked up from social media, or the ones I came up with myself:
"There's no other feeling like butterflies and adrenaline flowing through your body before a game."
"Being told you look like an athlete is one of the best compliments ever." <-- it actually is!
"Be the change you wish to see in the world."
"Sometimes life is about risking everything for a dream no one can see, except for you."
"Rock bottom has built more champions than privilege ever did."
"My jersey number means a lot to me."
"The ones who doubted me will one day tell everyone how they met me."
"Being underestimated is one of the biggest competitive advantages you'll have!"
"Every successful person was once called delusional, an idiot, a loser, or crazy."
"I'm just another kid with a dream."
"A champion is someone who gets up when he/ she can't."
