Throughout my life, I have constantly been told by my friends and acquaintances that I'm a good listener. I love helping the people around me solve their problems, or even just give them a safe space to vent. But I don't feel like I'm doing enough, especially since these people's happiness impacts my own; so who am I really helping? I figure by lending an ear to strangers, it wouldn't be about me at all, and I could use a break from myself (please disregard the excessive use of first person adjectives and pronouns!).
P.S.: Naturally more enclined to chat with women.
