From being an active listener for all of my friends and family, to healing through my own struggles with anxiety, depression, and grief, I have a strong desire to help others cope with their hardships in a healthy way. My goal is to earn a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling so that I can provide compassionate care for people in need every day.

...See more My name is Kandace and I'm joining 7 Cups as a listener. I was really excited to find this community of compassionate folks who just want to make the world a better place by being there for one another. I'm studying for the GRE now so I can enroll in a Master's program as my first step toward becoming a licensed psychologist down the road. Until then, I'll be happy just to impact people's lives by listening and supporting their own desires to grow.
